The religious diversity in Catalonia is a challenge for the coexistence in the public space and for the education of future educators. This article emphasizes the challenge of religious diversity in the educational context, analyzing which attitudes have the educational agents of the future towards: a) the religious diversity, b) the interreligious and intercultural dialogue, and c) the role of education in the management of this diversity. In order to ask these questions have been conducted a survey study on the framework of the Project AGAUR-2014RELIG00019 named "Attitudes towards religious and cultural diversity in education for intercultural dialogue and interfaith scale". The population of the study has been the students in Teacher Training in Primary and Early Childhood, Social Education, Social Work and Pedagogy degree of all Catalan Public Universities. The conclusions highlight a) the favorable attitude towards cultural and religious diversity and interreligious dialogue and b) the relevance to the education given by the students, as a key role in the management of religious and cultural diversity.

At the end of 1599, a richly illustrated book Theatrum urbium Italicarum appeared in Venice. The author and publisher was a printer and engraver of Padua - Pietro Bertelli. According to the information provided on the front page and the dedication text, the work was donated to the bishop of Kujawy and Pomorze, Hieronim Rozrażewski (1542-1600). The following article is devoted to several key issues related to the release and influence of this publication. First, the paper focuses on the direct creators of the book: the publisher Pietro Bertelli and the identifiable creators of the various prints (Jacopo Monticolo, Francesco Bertelli). Then it presents the typology of the town depictions, their iconographic representations and direct provenance. Establishing their origins and linking them with the real influence of Bertelli's publication on the illustration material of a number of later publishing undertakings allowed for determining Theatrum's importance in the development of a modern veduta. The text also discusses the problem of the origins of the book and the Polish hierarch’s involvement in this entire undertaking.

This paper examines a highly problematic event recorded in 1 Samuel; that is, the defection of David to the Philistines. That such a pro-Davidic text would include such an embarrassing account would suggest that this period in David’s life was too well known to be ignored, and required an explanation. The author of 1 Samuel attempts to address David’s motivation for defecting to the Philistines, as well as defending David’s conduct while serving the Philistine king, Achish of Gath. The paper provides an analysis of the period in David’s life as recorded in 1 Samuel based on the biblical text (primarily 1 Sam 27,1–28,2; 29) and proposes a motivation for David’s defection to the Philistines, assessing the credibility of the claim that David did not kill any Israelites while he was serving under King Achish.

Humans are social beings. The norms of law that determine the basic rules of living together are as old as human history. In the context, it is possible to come upon various practices of law that originates from different needs, starting from primitive tribes to the Arab society of the Jahiliyyah period and to the Quraysh tribe which is the prototype of this society. The law practiced by the Arabs in general and by the Quraysh in particular can be put forward only with extensive studies when it comes to its specific aspects and original dimensions, and whether there are any influences of neighbouring states and civilizations on its structure and similar unknowns about it. Nevertheless, a study on the "ḥilf practice" which the Arab tribes and especially the Quraysh often practiced will be helpful to form an opinion on the Jahiliyyah law. It seems that there is an angle of consistency within the Jahiliyyah law itself. However, in a region where there exists no political organization at the state level, it is understood that the law was formed by the powerful and accommodated their world view and interests and thus became the law of certain people and groups rather than the whole society.

The paper analyses the main documents of the Church’s Magisterium that discuss the means of communication, with a particular focus placed on online media. Based on the Decree Inter mirifica on the means of social communication and on Communio et Progressio, pastoral instruction of the Pontifical Commission for Social Communications, the attitude of the Church’s Magisterium towards analogue and digital means of communication is compared, while the main ethical principles of the media declared in the documents are sought to be elucidated and adapted for current challenges that arise during the development of digital technologies. A particular priority is given to the development of the Church’s perspective towards the means of communication. The paper emphasises the central notion that any new (digital) technologies that serve disse¬mination of information and propagation of the human good are received positively by the Church. However, in spite of this, personal responsibility of each user of digital technologies is increasing.

The article focuses on the developing music culture of Cluj, one of the important cities in Transylvania, the easternmost province of Austria-Hungary. Important events and personalities which influenced the city´s music culture during the first half of the 19th century are presented in chronological order. One of the most essential happening was the founding of the local conservatory as early as 1819, which provided trained musicians for church music, theatre and chamber music performances. Georg Ruzitska (1789-1869), a dominant personality of the city´s musical culture, interfered with almost every scope of the field: education, church music, organ building, opera, chamber music soirees and extraordinary concerts (as Carl Filtsch´s or Franz Liszt´s performances). Other mentioned personalities, who contributed significantly to the music culture of Cluj are Count György Bánffy of Losonc (Governor of Transylvania), János Lavotta (conductor, composer), Philipp Caudella (pianist, composer), Ferenc Erkel (pianist, conductor, composer), Andreas Eitel and Heinrich Maywald (organ builders), Martin Konnert (piano builder)

Donosimo sedmo poglavlje knjige Naša filozofija od cijenjenog filozofa Sejjida Muhammeda Bakira Es-Sadra a koju je objavila Fondacija “Baština duhovnosti” 2013. godine. Kao što je urednik knjige i rekao u njenom uvodu ovo djelo je nastalo kao potreba vremena u kojem je živo autor i nastojanju da se ponudi dostatan odgovor na tada sve jaču propagandu i uticaj koje je marksističko učenje ostavljalo na naučne krugove i mladež. Iako su povodi pisanja ove knjige bili definisani svojim vremenom odnosno ideologijom koja danas predstavlja historiju ali univerzalnost tema kojima se ona bavi prevazili svoje vrijeme.Kroz historiji ljudske misli dva osnova filozofska toka su kroz razne oblike bili sučeljeni. To je učenje po kojem je cjelokupna zbilja ograničena na materiju i ono učenje koje dokazuje postojanje i viših nematerijalnih zbilja od kojih je i znanje.Najvažnije filozofsko pitanje u vezi sa znanjem jeste pitanje oblikovanja znanja u takvu filozofsku formu koja će otkriti njegovu zbilju i suštinu i pokazati da li se radi o materijalnom fenomenu prisutnom u materiji kada ona dosegne određenu razinu razvoja, usavršavanja i upotpunjenja, kako to tvrde materijalisti, ili se, pak, radi o fenomenu koji je lišen svake materijalnosti i, skupa sa svojim manifestacijama, podržan određenom vrstom egzistencije, kako ga se filozofski shvata u metafizici. Budući da je marksizam po svojoj prirodi materijalistička škola, on, naravno, naglašava materijalističku sliku o mislima i znanju.

U ovomu radu govoriti ćemo o hipotezi koja se ogleda o pionirskome radu priznavanja hinduističkih teoloških i filozofskih učenja kroz Al-Birunijev dolazak u zemlju Hinda, Al-Birunijevo djelo između komparativnih religija i komparativnih filozofija, Al-Birunijevu interpretaciju hinduizma kao fiktivne monoteističke teologije, te pregled filozofije hinduizma kao pitanje komparativnih filozofija u kojima će biti govora o nekim pitanjima komparativnih filozofija kojima se pozabavio Al-Biruni u prvih osam, odnosno, jedanaest od osamdeset poglavlja.

Teorija jednoće egzistencije (vahdetul-vudžud) koncipirane od gnostika (arifa) bila je predmetom mnogih kritika stoga što je daleka razumu i zbog neslaganja sa spoljašnjim značenjima nekih dijelova svetih tekstova. Neke pristalice ove teorije, kako bi umanjili ove kritike, interpretirali su je kao duhovno osvjedočena jednoća (perz. vahdet-e šuhud) radije je smatrajući epistemološkim pitanjem negoli ontološkim. U ovom članku nastojat ćemo ovo pitanje razmotriti sa stanovišta dva velika arifa – Ibn Arebija muslimana i Ekharta kršćanina – te pokazati kako razlikovanje jednoće egzistencije i duhovno osvjedočene jednoće prema načelima arifa nije ispravno i prema njihovom stanovištu ovo su dvoje jedna te ista stvar. Oni ne vjeruju u postojanje distinkcije između uma / subjektivnog (zihn) i objektivnog (ajn).

Poslanica pred nama, koju je obnovitelj teofozije u prethodnom stoljeću, veliki mislilac i arif, Allame Tabatabaji naslovio kao Imam Ali i božanska filozofija, odgovor je na postavljeno mu pitanje o položaju filozofi je u islamu. U prvom dijelu ove poslanice Allame Tabatabaji razmatra osnovno pitanje odnosa filozofi je i vjere te nudi odgovor na pitanje šta je filozofija i šta bi to bila božanska filozofija? U nastavku, koji predstavlja većinu i srž poslanice, Allame se bavi nadvremenskom ličnošću Imama Alija i dokazuje da je upravo on zasijao prve zasade filozofske odnosno teozofske misli i da je on bio prva osoba koja je riječima dala transcendentna značenja i time bio pionir u kovanju stručnih termina.

Prijevod je popraćen stajalištima drugih mislilaca u cilju potvrde, kritike i dublje analize navedenog u tekstu što u mnogome pomaže njegovom razumijevanju.I površnim pogledom na opće islamske propise shvatamo da je islam društvena vjera i odgovara čovjekovoj prirodi. Propisi kao što su naređivanje na odbor a odvraćanje od zla, poticanje islama na jačanje društvenih veza putem ljubavi, uzajamnog pomaganja, darivanja te održavanje Božijih propisa u zajednici kao što je namaz u džematu, hadž i brojni drugi vjerski propisi pokazatelj je da islam svoj poziv gradi na društvu. Islam se ne zadovoljava samo dobrom pojedinca već smatra da zdrav pojedinac treba izgraditi zdravo društvo.Ovaj tekst pojašnjava sposobnost provedivosti islamskih društvenih propisa u postojećim savremenim okolnostima. Također, nastojalo se odgovoriti na pitanja kao što su: Da li je primjenjivost islamskih društvenih propisa u savremenim okolnostima mjerilo njihove naprednosti ili je to pokazatelj nepostojanja tih propisa? Zašto i pored postojanja naprednih društvenih islamskih propisa islam kao jedna društvena ideologija nije uspjela da nastavi uspješan život? Da li su mjerilo naprednosti jednog društva samo odnosi pojedinaca unutar tog društva ili tome treba pridodati i sposobnost društva da komunicira i sučeljava se sa drugim društvima?

U posljednje vrijeme uočljiva je tendencija traganja za modelom koji utjelovljuje (obuhvata) znanje i naučna dostignuća savremene psihologije i viših, duhovnih aspekata bića zvanog čovjek, pritom oslanjajući se na dosadašnja saznanja o naprednom, duhovno integriranom modelu blagostanja. Dr. Arthur Deikman psihijatar sa diplomom sa Harvarda i predavač kliničke psihijatrije na univerzitetu Kalifornija (University of California), pionir u znanstvenom istraživanju veze i odnosa duhovnosti i psihoterapije, kaže: “Moguće je da su značenje i svrha ljudskog života izvan spectruma uobičajene svijesti, čije je širenje i produbljivanje predmetom bavljenja duhovnih tradicija. Ustvari, neki evoluciju svijesti smatraju osnovnim zadatkom ljudske rase. Zapadna psihologija, u pokušajima da objasni osjećaj besmisla i njemu pripadajuće simptome, mnogo može naučiti od duhovnosti, u kojoj se značenje smatra nečim realnim i svijesti dokučivim, uz pomoć razvoja i nadgradnje odgovarajućeg perceptualnog kapaciteta.”

The Romanian Greek-Catholic Church and the Bishop Iuliu Hirțea under the Communist Regime. The present paper enrolls in the series of documentary restitution of the recent history, particularly focusing on the “destiny” of the Greek-Catholic Episcopacy of Oradea, taken on the 28th of July 1949 by the priest and teacher Iuliu Hirțea.Amongst Romania’s most recent personalities, the name of the bishop Iuliu Hirțea has its well-deserved place due to his exemplary life that he has chosen to put into the service of the Greek-Catholic Church. Together with the bishops Ioan Ploscaru (1911-1998), Ioan Chertes (1911-1992), Tit Liviu Chinezu (1904-1955), Ioan Dragomir (1905-1985) and Alexandru Todea (1912-2002), Iuliu Hirțea belongs to the second generation of martyr bishops called to serve the Greek-Catholic Church from Romania in the time of the communist regime.
