Je li ekumenizam politički uvjetovan?

Živimo u vremenu u kojem se svako, često i najmanje, otvaranje prema pozicijama “drugoga” tumači kao izdaja vlastitog kulturnog i vjerskog identiteta. Često se i najjednostavnija, poštena, spremnost na preispitivanje stavova vlastite grupe, svjesno tumači kao “popuštanje” vjerskom relativizmu, ili još gore kao “predaja” pred neprijateljem. Tako i ekumenski dijalog u krilu vlastite zajednice neki tumače kao slabost i popuštanje drugom, dok isti taj dijalog se često vidi kao dobra prilika da se druga strana lukavo nagovori na odustajanje od vlastitih pozicija i uvjerenja. Stoga se ekumenski dijalog u nekim krugovima smatra običnim crkvenim politikantstvom, koje je motivirano više “pragmatičnim” razlozima nego željom za slogom i jedinstvom razjedinjenih Kristovih učenika.

Teološka jezgra i aspekti kršćanske duhovnosti

Naočigled današnjih brojnih očitovanja krize u Crkvi, među frekventnije pojmove u analizama i vizijama izlaza spada i pojam duhovnosti. Pri tome nije ni približno jasno što se shvaća pod duhovnošću, koji je njezin pravi sadržaj, koji autentični modeli i koji put do nje vodi. Izvan je sumnje da je duhovnost sastavni dio crkvenog života i da ona u Crkvi ima svoju povijest od njezina početka. Međutim, danas smo svjedoci pojavi različitih oblika duhovnosti koji se znatno razlikuju vanjskim očitovanjem i kojima glavno mjerilo postaje subjektivni doživljaj i pozivanje na osobnu religioznu kompetentnost. Sve to upućuje na nužnu kritičku dimenziju duhovnosti. Budući da je današnji istaknuti oblik duhovnost velikim dijelom pneumatocentričan, on je pokrenuo brojne refleksije o stvarnosti Duha i probudio pneumatologiju.

Teologija i umjetnost: sadržaj vjere i kulturalna forma

Teologija je u umjetnosti relativno rano prepoznala saveznicu, a u nekoliko navrata liturgijska uloga umjetnosti zahtijevala je izravnu obranu. Najjasnije je to izraženo dvjema saborskim odlukama, jednom na Drugom nicejskom saboru 787. godine kada su zaustavljene ikonoklastične struje unutar Crkve i otvorena vrata srednjevjekovnom preoblikovanju liturgijskoga prostora: “I. Ako netko ne priznaje da se Krist, naš Bog može prikazati u svom ljudskom obličju, neka bude izopćen.; II. Ako netko ne priznaje da su prizori iz evanđeljā prikazani na slikama [imaginibus], neka bude izopćen.; III. Ako netko ne časti te slike [učinjene] u ime Gospodnje i njegovih svetaca, neka bude izopćen.; IV. Ako netko odbija svu crkvenu predaju, pisanu ili nepisanu, neka bude izopćen.”

Kršćanska inspiracija u modernoj umjetničkoj glazbi

Ovo kratko izlaganje ne iscrpljuje postavljenu temu, nego više definira problem, ukazuje na smjer i postavlja okvir istraživanja i prikaza koji bi zahtijevao jedan veći rad. Sam naslov izlaganja najprije zahtijeva preciziranje sadržaja razgraničenjem značenja između pojmova modernog i suvremenog. Moderno je ono što je u modi, što prevladava u općem ukusu, u estetskim, umjetničkim ili nekim drugim mjerilima. Moderno je redovno i suvremeno, ali ne mora nužno biti. U glazbi su još uvijek moderne tehnike skladanja prve polovice dvadesetog stoljeća, skladatelji i skladbe iz tog vremena, iako tu više ne možemo govoriti o suvremenosti, jer nas od tog vremena dijeli skoro jedno stoljeće. Prikladnije je stoga govoriti o modernoj umjetničkoj glazbi, nego o suvremenoj, i zbog toga što od suvremene (pri čemu mislimo na zadnja dva-tri desetljeća) nemamo dovoljan vremenski odmak, kritičku distancu, dok je o dvadesetom stoljeću još uvijek aktualno govoriti.

Narodna vjera bosansko-hercegovačkih muslimana

Suppose people were before faith, but it also legitimate to suppose the contrary, faith was before people. In the multitude of encounters and relations between people and faith over many decades, but also centuries, the phenomenon, moreover the phenomena of “people’s faith” have been growing. As such “people’s faith” has come from theological systems, orthodox fundamentalisms, refined dogmatic systems… So people’s faith has almost always emerged to measure of people, their conventions, their “pre-religious” experiences, their dreams and own answers to human encounters with the “the last questions” – of birth, joy, death, disease, work, war, gender… In short, people’s lives are the birth places of “people’s faith,” People’s faith is created from people’s mythology, magic, tradition, in sum, from integral tradition not yet improved enough to be official and systemized. In this research paper “ the people’s Islam” on a world level, on the local, Balkan and Bosnian, and on the micro local in the region of Travnik is predominantly addressed. Special attention is given to the phenomena of the “hygienic” purifying of people’s faith and its eradication through modernistic, reformist and fundamentalist projects.

Prison Radicalization in Bangladesh Present Scenario and Threats

Prison radicalization is a global concern particularly in the moderate Muslim countries those are under threat for violent extremism by Islamist militant.Though the aim of prison is to protect society by confining offenders in facilities that are supposedly safe, humane and secure and to ensure that offenders are actively participating in programs that will assist them in becoming law-abiding citizens when they return to their communities. But prison settings present both risks and opportunities with respect to violent extremist offenders. Poorly managed detention facilities of any types could become potent incubators of radicalization though it is not the only place where violent extremist radicalization occurs. Bangladesh is one of the countries which is facing threat by Islamist militant. The law enforcement situation, democratic practice, injustice and discrimination among the different classes are setting fuel to become people radicalize. The prison situation of Bangladesh is very worse and it may become a hub for recruitment and brainwash place for Islamist militant. The key objective of the study is to assess the realities of prison radicalization in Bangladesh and the effectiveness of deradicalization programs. Based on the objectives the study has designed on qualitative approach.The data was collected via using a semi-structured questionnaire exploring the concept of radicalization, prison radicalization, process, key factors and ways to prevention from both from primary and secondary sources. The paper will give a real scenario of prison of Bangladesh, problems, management system of captured Islamist militants and interventions for deradicalization.

CIRCULAȚIA POLIELEULUI ÎN ȚĂRILE ROMÂNE ÎN SECOLUL AL XIX-LEA

The 19th century represents the golden age of byzantine music in the Romanian Principalities. During this period extensive translations were conducted from Greek and priceless original masterpieces were composed. As to what concerns the polyeleos, translations were favoured during the first half of the century, whereas a great many original scores were penned during the second half of the century. Likewise, the musical style changed, going from sticheraric versions to the irmologic, syntomon ones, a sign that music began to be in better accordance not only with the language, but also with the tastes of the public. The polyeleos was very widely spread, being surpassed, we believe, only by the Axion and Heruvic, a sign of the consideration that it was given by the composers of the time. Amongst all the polyeleos compositions, the one by Petru Lampadarie, translated and adapted to Romanian by Macarie the Hyeromonach, stands out both due to its beauty as well as to the abundancy with which it can be found in manuscripts and prints.

Sumnje u kraj sekularizma

Sa ozbiljnim pojmovima kakvi su sekularizam i teokratija ima mnogo više problema nego što bi se moglo učiniti na prvi pogled. Naime, u striktno semantičkoj ravni nema mnogo nejasnog, kao što ga nema u istorijskoj pojavnosti onoga što pojmovi sadrže – malo je kome nejasno šta pojmovi znače i šta su značili u istoriji. U ovom delu rasprave biće reči o aktuelnim političkim konotacijama i svim nesporazumima koji se jednako otvaraju. Iz bogate dokumentacije ovde ćemo navesti tek neke primere. “Bezbožnici ne treba da budu u Skupštini Srbije”, kaže jedan prvak koalicije DSS-NS. “Ministri treba da se zakunu u Crkvu, a ne samo u imovinu”, kaže gradonačelnik Jagodine i to se čak ritualno ponavlja. Istakli smo i pomalo neobičan slučaj iz zahteva Žičke eparhije SPC upućenog Ministarstvu vera Srbije u kome se zahteva “desekularizacija”. Ne događa se to samo u Srbiji već na čitavom prostoru pravoslavnog “postkomunističkog” Istoka – svuda se opaža “povratak svetog”. Bezmalo se ozbiljno prima tvrđenje da smo pred “krajem” sekularizma koji se poistovećuje sa oblikom militantnog ateizma kakav smo imali u sovjetskoj Rusiji decenijama. Sekularizam međutim, nema dublje veze sa tim vidom ateizacije koja je uistinu doživela svoj kraj s krajem modela “ruskog komunizma”.

The theme of this article is about sanctity as described in the Old Testament texts. At the same time, it briefly talks about consecration with Holy oil as a basic act of performing consecration. Sanctity is a fundamental moral category relating primarily to the Divine Existence. Within the Old Testament time frame the relation to sanctity mainly concerns God – Father, Creator and Maker. Its aspects follow two directions: sanctity concerning God, and sanctity concerning all that serves God (people, times, objects, places, etc.).

The report concentrates on the topic of the development of cults to own saints in the Bulgarian church through the period 9-12c., both apostolic and enlightening (Saint saint Cyril and Methodius, Saint Kliment Ohridski, Saint Naum Ohridski), and seigniorial (Boris-Mihail, Saint tsar Petar), anchoretic (Saint Ioan Rilski, Saint Prohor Pshinski, Saint Ioakim Osogovski, Saint Gavriil Lesnovski). Some controversial topics such as worshiping the students of the Cyril and Methodius Gorazd and Lavrentii in the medieval Bulgarian lands are considered as well.

This article is an attempt to present a short systematization and typologisation of the process of official canonization of saints by the Bulgarian Orthodox Church in recent times. In the second half of the twentieth century and the beginning of the twenty-first century several official canonization of saints by the Bulgarian Patriarchate. The brief typology of these saints according to the orthodox hagiology shows that they are divided into several main groups. These are new martyrs, spiritual enlighteners (buditeli) and holy hierarchs (svetiteli). Regardless of the conditionality of this most general typology of the canonized saints we are able to trace and outline the contours of modern Bulgarian holiness.

Богомилската представа за святост

The present study aims to present the Bogomilic view of holiness. For this purpose, the main sources of Bogomil and Christian doctrines are used: "The Secret Book of the Bogomils", "The Qatars Trebic", the Sacred Scripture of the Old and New Testaments, the "Boril Synodik" of 1211 and the teachings of the Holy Fathers. The result of the analysis is as follows: There is no similarity between the Bogomil and Christian notions of holiness; on the contrary, they are completely opposite. The Bogomils perceive holiness as an escape from everything material, the world, and the body are not subject to sanctification. According to the teachings of the Bogomils, the man, the animals, then plants are creation of Satan. The woman conceived with the help of Satan. The human body is not subject to sanctification and can not be holy.

The understanding of apostolic men for holiness is in full consensus with the views of New Testament writers and represents their continuation and expression specific to the era. According to their works, holiness is the Catholic and only possible way of life in the body of Christ for each of its members. A world in the very sense of this word is God alone. That is why man becomes a world not by individual improvement but by joining with Christ in the Holy Spirit in the eucharistic assembly. Holiness is not a historical category, although it manifests and acts in history, as Christ Himself does. Apostolic men pay attention to the working of Christian holiness, the ethos, and the virtues that flow from it.
