Radical Islam is one of the most widely discussed topics in the Bulgarian society, requiring a careful approach. Part of our society consider that information about the problems of radical Islam does not reach the necessary sufficiency and timeliness. All of this leads to the formation and dissemination of the misunderstanding that Islam is the main cause of terrorist acts carried out in different parts of the world, . On a massive scale there is no distinction between Islam and radical Islam. In this regard, the report is aimed at clarifying the essence of the backgrounds of the radicalization of the Muslim communities in the Republic of Bulgaria.

INFLUENCE OF AGGREGATE INSTITUTIONS ON ACADEMIC MOTIVATION

The effects of aggressive predispositions following the model of Friedman & Rosenman, 1974; Friedman & Kewley, 1988, Morris, 1990 on Academic Motivation on Academic Motivation Scale by Gordeeva, T.O., 2013. The study was conducted on a sample of 189 people, 51.9% of whom were men and 48.1% - women between the ages of 14 and 49. The results obtained show significant correlations between the aspects of academic motivation for achievement, self-esteem and self-perfection, and aggressive predispositions to A-type behavior. It is confirmed that moderate behavior as well as behavior A have a positive influence on academic motivation.

In the near future the Bulgarian Air Force will use outdated aircraft, produced within the late 1980s and early 1990s. The same is for their armament included guided missiles. The budgetary constraints make the strategy of acquisition of the new ones difficult to implement. The only option available is prolongation of the life cycle, based on scientific and expert approach. In this article the current achievements are analyzed as well future directions for improvement of trsting methodology.

In the era of digitalization and continuous integration of digital technologies into business and everyday life, more and more companies use Internet for e-sales. Offering their products online, retailers can increase their efficiency while reducing costs and increasing the range of goods they sale; and also improve their relationship with the customers. Considering that in Bulgaria and globally as well one of the best selling goods online are apparel and footwear, the aim of this research is to show what are the specifics, advantages and disadvantages for the participants in the online transactions. And thus to analyze the current state and outline the main trends of the apparel and footwear online sales in Bulgaria.

Digitization penetrate more and more into the business world, and hence becomes a weapon of competitive struggle between traders. In the development of their competitive strategies, more and more economic agents use the achievements of the digital economy to create a product capable of satisfying the consumer's needs for purchases in convenient place, time and way, which is today's most important source of competitive advantage. In the light of free data and information traffic, the competitive structure of traditional retailing is trans-formed into the application of a omnichannel trading model, intensifying com-petition, cooperation with suppliers, the role of buyers and reducing entry barri-ers in the industry. The purpose of this paper is to describe the disruptive impact of digitalization on the competitive structure of retailing and certain technolo-gies that cause it.

The author shares his own good practices of harmonizing the relations between the present-day technologies and handling with the text. In the spirit of constructivism the report shows how students’ online activities, their speech and perception of the world can become an effective part of the teaching process by interacting with the didactic examples in class. The author introduces units of specific lessons in which passages from youngsters’ chat rooms and advertisements with dialectal and slang forms are analysed. The interaction between speech and technologies can be achieved by activities, which were in the marginal part of the pedagogical interest – graphological analysis (in its simplest form), use of emoticons and paralinguistic means. The fusion of low and high genres, avoided by methodology, but at the same time offered online, provokes the active use of laughter and jokes in class.

This study investigates how present demographic processes affect the toponymy in the Plovdiv region by analyzing the current toponymic situation in two settlements – the village of Benkovski and the village of Tsalapitsa. An empirical study was conducted in 2016 in the two villages. The results are surprising and show that the dynamic socio-economic development, the expansion of the territory and the increase of the population of the village of Benkovski lead to a decrease in the number of toponyms in the region while in the depopulated village of Tsalapitsa their number does not change.

Plants are the universal symbols of the human spiritual culture. They form a vegetable code and through that code they build up and transmit a whole message. The Bulgarian language is especially rich with names of plants. In this report is mentioned the etymology of the name marshmallow and the derivative names. Marshmallow (Althaea officinalis L.) has received its name from Greek, which means „heal“. Many of the plant species have healing properties. The common names of the marshmallow are: bozha ruchitsa, byal slez, volovo oko, wild marshmallow, prosvirnyak, prusvornik, staliiska ruzha, marshmallow and others. Folk names of the marshmallow are classified according to motivational characteristics – color, properties, place of origin and others. The marshmallow plant is widely used in folk medicine.

In order to place emphasis on the independence of equality bodies as a key factor for the development of standards for equality bodies it is necessary that we consider the question of their nature and essence as independent institutions for the protection, promotion and strengthening of the principle of equal treatment. The current study offers an analytical overview of the existing international standards applicable to EU equality bodies, as well as of the new Recommendation of the European Commission on standards for equality bodies with respect to the requirement for independence.

The report clarifies the special categories of personal data and the conditions for collecting and processing them according the new European rules. The subject of handling special categories of data is a great interest in both theory and practice. In regards to the rapid technological developments, the processing of special categories of data is associated with significant risks to the subject's fundamental rights and freedoms, which requires greater protection against possible violations. The purpose of the protection of personal data is to enable individuals to control their own data and prevent its misuse. In this respect, the processing of special categories of data is allowed only in case the conditions mentioned in the General Data Protection Regulation are followed.
