Summary/Abstract: Therapy culture enters into occasionally surprising relations with various social domains (com. religion, education, politics, etc.). The main purpose of the investigations based on this conviction and included within the framework of this article (they additionally refer to discursive and/or textological review a Polish television program entitled Kuchenne rewolucje) was/has been to answer the following research questions: what components of the therapeutic discourse are borrowed or transformed for the needs of today’s communication practices; what are the goals of such procedures and do they confirm the therapy dominance; how do the observed filiations and translocations translate into the conceptualization of the considered discourse whose limits we can, according to the author, either narrow or broaden‑limiting (or not) to the phenomena subordinated directly to psychotherapy.
