Summary/Abstract: This article analyzes the challenges posed by unauthorized liturgical innovations to the unity of worship in the Romanian Orthodox Church, on the occasion of the centenary of the Romanian Patriarchate. Grounded in the theological foundations of liturgical unity and the tradition preserved by the Holy Fathers, it examines concrete cases of divergent liturgical practices, especially in southern Romania. The role of the Patriarchate in maintaining typikon fidelity through synodal regulations and clergy formation is emphasized. Finally, the article proposes directions to strengthen liturgical unity, essential for preserving ecclesial identity and Orthodox witness in the 21st century.
