Summary/Abstract: The regional policy of the European Union is the subject of increasing interest in candidate countries and potential candidates for full membership, because preparations for structural funds and the Cohesion Fund, which are available only to member countries, have already begun during the use of pre-accession funds. Finally, where does the partnership with the non-governmental sector come from in presenting this work to the public? In the long list of valuable publications of the European Movement in Serbia in the field of European integration (European programs for local communities, European Community Programs, IPA - instrument for EU pre-accession assistance, etc.) we get another valuable reference. It points to the important role of civil society in the promotion of EU policies, but also in their implementation, which is especially pronounced at the local level in the integration phases that are yet to come.
