Summary/Abstract: This text is an attempt to explicate mythic and eschatological themes in rock culture from its beginnings to the early 1990s. It will show the main directions of rock mythicization, especially in the most important period of hippie revaluation – with emphasis on its falsification, resulting from the pop-cultural genealogy of rock.
