Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the effects of the stay of Red Army troops in the District of Dębica in 1944–1945. It discusses the impact of the Soviet troops and the Soviet security services staying in the district on the socio-political situation as well as on the security of the population and socio-economic life, in the aspect of predatory economy, especially in the sector of agriculture.
