Summary/Abstract: Two centuries ago, on February 10, 1815, one of the most great Romanian jurists and politicians was born, Constantin Bosianu. Much has been written about him and he has expressed appreciation for his remarkable qualities, but perhaps the most beautiful words remain those of Nicolae Iorga: “In two years of existence, this Council of State, chaired by the great and learned romaniste Constantin Bosianu, the protector and advisor of my first steps in the study ofLlaw, erased the sad vestiges of some hard times and erected the modern edifice of the Romanian country. ”
