Intellectual dimension of kitsch. Wisdom and stupidity. Art and kitsch

Summary/Abstract: The article describes the problem of relations that exist between wisdom and foolishness, and between art and kitsch. The author argues that stupidity is the result of a lack of harmony between the virtues responsible for the attitude that we call wisdom. In this meaning stupidity limits radical human rationality. So the same is with kitsch. It is the result of a lack of harmony between the principles of aesthetic forming a work of art. In this connection it is also a kind of degree of freedom blended with the artistic activity. It allows us to accept these works of art that are not perfect.
