Summary/Abstract: This article presents the forecasted trends and risks in the next decade of the twenty-first century, having regard to the current scale of threats occurring on a global scale. Based on the analyzes and the assessments of the research on forecasting the evolution of the international security environment, we can identify five strategic problem areas: 1) the old world, Europe, European Union, 2) USA-their current and future position in the world, 3) Middle East and North Africa 4) The aggressive actions of the Russian Federation, 5) China and Pacific new center of gravity.
