Summary/Abstract: This article presents the practical dimension of activities undertaken by the Russian Federation under the so hybrid war. Particular attention has been paid to the new attitude of the Russians to the hybrid war, and in the context the potential threats to the NATO member states have been analyzed and an assessment has been made of the present and future risks. The article is looking for answers to the following questions: Is hybrid war a new challenge for transatlantic, security in the second decade of the 21th century? Have decisions taken at NATO’s last NATO summit been sufficient for hybrid treats?
