Summary/Abstract: In recent times, regions have called the attention for themselves more and more energetically and demandingly and gained greater and greater attention while doing so. Currently, the focus of their activities is apparently located within the area of the EU and the integration process. Regions, as the political factors of the EU context, involve highly diverse activities that can be summarised in the denotation of 'the regions of Europe'.
