Summary/Abstract: The subject of the article is the semiosphere of ethnographic research of Jan Czekanowski, understood as a unique semiotic space, which is prerequisite for the emergence of some specific cultural science discourses. The author analyzes the researcher’s journals, trying to recreate the “dense” plexus of inspirations and contexts underlying the particular research model.
