Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to show the role of psychological factors in shaping consumer behavior on tourist market. A concept of the consumer behaviour on tourist market was defined and the psychological factors shaping the tourism behavior were characterised; among them: motives, preferences, emotions, attitudes, perception, personality and lifestyle.
