Summary/Abstract: The paper is about modern linguistic ideas which enhance Bulgarian Language Teaching. The emphasis is on the contribution of Prof. Stefana Dimitrova concerning her studies in Pragmatics, Corpus Linguistics, and Text-Linguistics. The implementations of these key statements in Core Curriculum, textbooks and methods of teaching have been described. Some productive issues about relation between Linguistics and Bulgarian Language Teaching are discussed.
