Summary/Abstract: One of the factors determining the efficiency of farming households are the qualifications of managers, since they make decisions that determine the outcome of agricultural activity. The aim of the study was to evaluate the technical efficiency of farms in conjunction with the education level of their managers. Empirical data was based on the results of IAFE-NRI surveys in the years 1996, 2000 and 2005. For measurement of technical efficiency parametric stochastic production function analysis (SFA) was used. The study showed a relationship between the efficiency of utilization of productive resources and the education of farmers.
