Summary/Abstract: The Holy Scripture and Church teaching recognise homosexual relations as contrary to the order of things established by the Creator. These relations constitute a threat to happy eternity as well as damage the innate dignity of their perpetrators and the social model of the family. Preaching on the subject of homosexuality addressed to homosexual persons should be a gentle invitation to chastity. The preaching must absolutely be founded on love, which will allow the Church to call out to its homosexual brothers and sisters: “We need one another [...] You are always our children”.
