The natural environment system of the Wroclaw Functional Area

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this research is summary of potential the natural environment system of the Wroclaw Functional Area and identify guidelines to shape natural environment system. In this paper explained the term of the natural environment system and presented the rules of molding the ecological system. The problems of the spatial continuity and functional cohesion of the natural environment system have been presented. The article specifies the natural potential of the communes of the Wroclaw Functional Area and indicates possible directions of shaping the green infrastructure on this area. The results of analyzes have been presented on the cartograms. Conclusions contain the guidelines for shaping the natural environment system of the functional urban area.
