Implementation of selected programs supporting agriculture in the Landscape Park “Barycz Valley”

Summary/Abstract: The idea of sustainable rural development, among others, should be connected with measures to inhibit the outflow of people from these areas and to support partially disappearing agricultural activities. This idea gains special importance in areas recognized as environmentally valuable. The support of management may provide a basis for development in accordance with the rules of sustainable development. In Poland, a tool which is supporting such development is the agri-environmental program. This article presents the factors affecting the implementation of selected packages of agri-environmental program within the National Park „Barycz Valley”. Actions which can be introduced to protected areas including Natura 2000 areas have been analyzed. The conducted analyzes are part of the research related to the implementation of sustainable development in rural areas.
