The opportunities of the development of sustainable tourism on the example of the Lower Silesian landscape parks

Summary/Abstract: The studies included 12 landscape parks located in Lower Silesia. These parks are marked by natural and landscape diversity. However, the majority of the tourist infrastructure requires modernization. Tourism development should be adapted to the specific conditions of a landscape park, not only for the comfort and safety of users, but also for the protection of natural and landscape values against destruction.The purpose of this article is to provide guidance for the tourism development of the Lower Silesia landscape parks, based on their protection plans, and the postulate of the protection of natural and landscape values.
