Summary/Abstract: Koroman’s collection of short essays World or the two halves has a distinctive place in the author’s creative opus, principally because of the impossibility of an unambiguous determination. This impossibility will be presented as the basis of Koroman’s discourse organization. With the economy of the phrase and the illustration of the theses, it is related to Bacon’s essay, but, at the same time, it betrays it with the consistent aberration from the presupposed ethical solution. With the unsystematic interpretation of the textual conventional ways of development and particularly with the multiple perspectives, it is close to modern experience which is most clearly represented in fragments and aphorisms, but at the same time, it is alienated from it by insisting on the operative justification of the rational act. Understanding the world as a balance between extremes and with the juxtaposition of oppositional terms, it is close to Eastern philosophy and religion, but at the same time, it is alienated from them by establishing an active relationship between the subject and the world.
