Summary/Abstract: The present piece of writing attempts at pinpointing some of the most representative features of a unique poetic vision displayed by the well-known poet and songwriter, Şerban Foarţă. The poetry of the holorhymes, of reduplication, redistribution and dislocation puts together a pronounced quest for euphonic effects which appears to enclose a self-sufficient poetic universe. In addition to this formal playfulness, the poetic self conceives himself in parodic tones. All these features summed up have often determined Foarţă’s critics to label him as a mannerist poet.
