Summary/Abstract: In Albania coexist three main religions: Orthodox, Catholic and Muslim. Roman Emperor Constantine proclaimed the official Christian religion in the 6th century AD. The material evidence of this religion begins with the presence of paleochristian buildings. The temples of Islamic worship in Albania are emerging with the Ottoman invasion that began in the 15th century and lasted almost five centuries.
