How to Help Students Use Artificial Intelligence Wisely in Bulgarian Language Classes

Summary/Abstract: The article presents a functional approach to the use of artificial intelligence in Bulgarian language classes at school. It discusses the characteristics of different language models, with an emphasis on their use in teaching and education. It analyzes tools suitable for teaching the Bulgarian language and for preventing unacceptable use of AI. Data from a pilot experiment with teachers who use AI is included.
