Summary/Abstract: The Romanian Language and Literature subject has, in the Romanian school, a privileged status, because each of the subject's compartments – reading, writing, grammar – offers new and ample possibilities for cultivating speech. The correct acquisition of the Romanian language by students has repercussions on the entire process of their intellectual formation and development. One of the fundamental objectives of studying the Romanian language is the acquisition and application of the norms of correct speech and writing of the Romanian language and the correct use of the vocabulary of the literary language, but the achievement of this objective is closely related to the mastery with which the teacher or professor manages to make the student learn from intuiting words to understanding their grammatical meaning, from recognizing and noting sounds graphically, to writing a composition, from going through different writings to generalizing notions that they can use in personal expression.
