Summary/Abstract: Preschool is considered the age at which educational experience is particularly important for the formation and development of the human personality. During this period, the most significant evolution in the development of human individuality and the most important acquisitions for the future stages of development are registered. Language acquisition is an essential aspect of human personality development, the school environment being the main factor in this process. Being a communication tool, language, through its structural elements, conditions the development of thinking, imagination and creativity, but also the development of social processes. Among the structural elements of the language, the vocabulary is the one that conditions the reception and transmission of messages in a social context and requires special attention from the trainers. Vocabulary enrichment in preschool is a process that focuses on expanding the volume of words, on acquiring a correct pronunciation of words, increasing the number of words that the preschooler uses in new contexts, but also knowing their explanation. Each child forms his own vocabulary in the conditions of social life and in the context of the instructive-educational process to which he is subjected.
