Summary/Abstract: This document is the 2024 Easter Pastoral Letter authored by His Eminence Ioan, Metropolitan of Banat. The text reflects on the profound theological significance of Jesus Christ’s Resurrection and His ultimate victory over death. Metropolitan Ioan emphasizes God's infinite love by highlighting that Christ returned to the Heavenly Father not with a righteous saint, but with a repentant thief. The letter explores the supreme sacrifice on the Cross, the vital importance of the Eucharist as the Bread of Life, and human free will. Furthermore, it includes a strong pastoral exhortation to practice charity towards the vulnerable and urges the youth to passionately defend their faith, family, and country.
