The Quality of Life of Women with Psychoactive Substance Dependence During Hospitalization II

Summary/Abstract: This article presents the way in which the effect of treatment is evaluated in the case of psychotropic substance dependence treatment. It explains the role of the subjective perception of the quality of life (QoL) of the individual affected by addiction and also presents some tools (quality of life questionnaires) that are used in treatment evaluation research. In the second part, the author introduces research at the Psychiatric Hospital Bohnice-Praha, which is focused on the evaluation of the effect of treatment in terms of subjective perception of QoL by hospitalized women suffering from addiction to psychotropic substances.
