Summary/Abstract: The article examines the evaluation of the effectiveness of addiction treatment for psychotropic substances in relation to regular physical activity and its impact on quality of life. The study is conducted among women hospitalized at Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital who voluntarily participated in a four-week therapeutic intervention, which included hippotherapy, cognitive training, and yoga. At the beginning and the end of the intervention, participants completed questionnaires assessing the frequency of their physical activity before and during hospitalization. Additionally, they evaluated their quality of life using a standardized questionnaire. The results indicate that women who were physically active both before and during hospitalization reported a higher quality of life compared to other studied groups.
