Summary/Abstract: The paper examines the correlations between the main factors of the labor market and economic growth, using a quantitative approach. The study begins with a bibliometric analysis and a review of the specialized literature on the reference topic to highlight the theoretical perspectives of the labor market. The research methodology includes a multiple linear regression model, in which real GDP is the endogenous variable, and the number of unemployed, the active population and the average number of employees are the exogenous variables. The obtained model presents an R Squared coefficient of 0.99, indicating a high capacity to explain the variability of GDP through the selected factors. The analysis focused on the interpretation of the indicators related to each variable, illustrated by relevant graphical representations. The results highlight significant relationships between the structure of the labor market and regional economic performances.
