Summary/Abstract: This study was written on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of theological studies in Bulgaria, the 190th anniversary of the church in the town of Ihtiman, built in 1835. The main focus is on the icon of the Holy Virgin from the main iconostasis of the church, painted in 1879 by Zachary pop Radoykov from Samokov.
