Erosion of liberal democracy in Poland after 2015

Summary/Abstract: Th e admiration for liberal democracy as a future of postcommunist states has gone irretrievably. Its crisishas been discussed more and more oft en. Th e search for alternative solut ions (more adjusted to the post-communist conditions) continues. Such notions as erosion or regression of liberal democracy, democraticbacksliding or autocratization seem to refl ect more properly the political reality of at least some of EastEuropean countries. Th e aim of this article is on the one hand the analysis of the semantic categories usedin description of political processes occurring in such countries as Hungary and Poland, and on the otherpicture of peculia r features of Poland, which may be treated as an example of “advanced erosion” and “in-complete autocratization”
