Short Description
Wrocławskie Studia Politologiczne is an academic journal specialising in political science. It is edited by the Institute of Political Science of the University of Wrocław and published by Wrocław University Press. The journal serves as a forum of knowledge exchange which allows dissemination of research results achieved by political scientists in Poland and abroad, as well as information-sharing among different centres of political science research.
The journal publishes scientific articles and reviews of scholarly publications concerning research on politics and administration, as well as reports on scientific events. Wrocławskie Studia Politologiczne offers to publish works by scholars from Poland and abroad, allowing for publication of texts in Polish. Among the authors, there are appreciated professors, as well as post-doc researchers and Ph.D. students at the beginning of their scientific journey. The only acceptance criterion is high professional quality of scientific works, ensured by supervision of the Board of Editors and diligent reviewing procedure.
The original version of the journal is printed. Papers and reviews are also available for free in electronic version. Since 2016, all papers have DOI numbers.
Wrocławskie Studia Politologiczne was included in the scientific journals’ list of 2016 by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in part B, item 2028. Publication of a paper gained the author 7 points. In the list of 31 July 2019, the journal was assigned 20 points (item 28 173).
