Summary/Abstract: Globalisation and technology have profoundly transformed human resource management (HRM), influencing how organisations recruit, retain, and develop talent. These two interdependent forces have opened up opportunities to expand the labour market and drive innovation, but they’ve also introduced challenges related to diversity, international mobility, and data security. At the same time, emerging innovations like artificial intelligence (AI) and big data analytics have redefined HRM processes, offering new opportunities for personalisation and improving employee performance. This article explores the impact of globalisation and technology on HRM, discussing both the challenges and emerging opportunities in this dynamic field.
