Summary/Abstract: The concept of human resource management, as defined by academics such as Storey, encompasses all the actions and policies used by an organization to recruit, develop, motivate, and retain human resources. The holistic viewpoint emphasizes the crucial significance of human resources in achieving organizational goals and maintaining a competitive advantage. Dessler’s work, along with other literature, highlights various crucial processes and functions in human resource management, including recruiting and selection, training and development, performance management, pay and benefits, and labor relations management. Each of these fields has advanced in a distinct manner, reflecting changes in management paradigms and adapting to current labor market situations. The practice of performance management has evolved into a dynamic and continuous endeavor with the objective of aligning individual and corporate objectives while facilitating constant feedback. The field of compensation and benefits has evolved into complex payment structures that combine monetary incentives with a wide range of non-monetary rewards, reflecting changes in employee values and expectations.
