Summary/Abstract: Human Resource Management (HRM) is a complex and dynamic field, influenced by a range of theories and conceptual approaches that provide diverse perspectives on how organisations can manage their human capital to gain competitive advantage. Among these theories are systems theory, human capital theory, industrial relations theory, behavioural theory, and institutional theory. This article aims to explore these fundamental theories, highlighting their contribution to the development of modern human resource management practices.
