Summary/Abstract: This paper examines the impact of digitalization, environmental expenditures, and air quality on quality of life within the context of the Romanian economy. By analyzing the interactions among these elements using multiple and simple linear econometric regression models, we explore how environmental quality can influence societal well-being and prosperity. The motivation behind this research is to emphasize the importance of digitalization and environmental investments in its protection. Additionally, the article underscores the crucial role of a healthy environment in the quality of life in Romania. The results indicate that investments and the degree of digitalization can significantly influence air quality, which in turn is a determining factor in people's perception of their health. Therefore, it is essential for government policies to coherently address these interconnected aspects and promote initiatives that encourage sustainable economic development focusing on factors that affect individuals' well-being. In light of these findings, the importance of implementing integrated policy programs to facilitate the transition to a sustainable economy and ensure an improved quality of life for all citizens is emphasized. These programs should aim to stimulate both IT equipment within educational institutions and sustainable environmental expenditures.
