Summary/Abstract: The authoress provides the readers with a description of the Jewish cemetery at Rychnov nad Kněžnou (Bohemia, the region of Podorlicko), whose earliest tombstone preserved dates from the year 1690. She also studies the development of its tombstones in the course of the 18th—19th centuries and transcribes some selected Hebrew epitaphs. The cemetery is considered a historic and artistic relic with many Rococo tombstones dating from the second half of the 18th century.
