Summary/Abstract: In the functioning of any organization, there may be a need to reduce employment, which is a difficult process for both the employee and the employer. It may be conducted through the implementation of an outplacement program. Outplacement programs are based on solutions aimed at helping the redundant employees find their place on the labor market (in case of job loss) and find a new job faster. By helping the dismissed employees, the company builds its positive image, both among former and still employed employees. The aim of the article is to present the concept of outplacement programs as an aid tool for redundant employees (employment reduction). It was based on the literature on the subject in this area and the results of secondary research on the specificity of outplacement programs in enterprises.
