Nová právní úprava výkonu umělecké, kulturní, sportovní a reklamní činnosti dítěte
Following the adoption of Act No. 435/2004 Coll., On Employment and Act No. 436/2004 Coll., Amending certain acts in connection with the adoption of the Employment Act, the situation where the legal order of the Czech Republic did not regulate work of children under 15 years of age. This situation not only did not benefit the performance of child labor, which was not affected by the Labor Code regime, and thus their legal status and regime were highly uncertain, but it was also not in line with European Community law. Within the framework of the European Communities, Council Directive 94/33/EC on the protection of young people at work has been in force since mid-1994, creating a minimum framework of requirements for the employment of children under the age of 15.
