Summary/Abstract: Current efforts to speed up and make civil litigation more efficient, especially in the area of trade, financial and economic relations, are inextricably linked to the institute of a payment order, which cannot be considered as an ancillary or marginal institute of civil proceedings. The frequency of application of this institute is very high and injunction proceedings bring a wide range of maximum effect. Thus, for example, in the Federal Republic of Germany only one tenth of payment orders are challenged by opposition, the others come into force.
