Marriage is the second most significant moment from a man’s life, an event that gives the opportunity of a rich display of folkloric manifestations. The ceremonial complex of the wedding mark, in a festive manner, the passing to another social statute. In Oltenia, it generally has a unitary structure, with small individualising elements, from one village to the other. The nuptial ceremony also presents in its development the three categories of rites, specific to the passing rites, such are: preliminary, liminary, post-liminary. Therefore, the nuptial scenario includes the existence of new rules and a logical succession in the development of the sequences. In the present material, we are going to stop on the customs from the stage that precedes the nuptial ceremony (wooing, discussing the dowry of the girl, the engagement), trying to point towards few dominant element of the phenomenon.

The environmental modelling have attracted a lot of attention in the pastyears. Their capacity to learn non-linearrelationships between an input and an output spacehas a lot of applications: modeling and controlling dynamic processes and systems, signalprocessing, pattern recognition, forecast, climate prediction etc. This paper will approacha specific area from the large field of applications :identifying and modeling of somedynamic processes like pollution and energy management. We briefly introduce a series oftheoretical considerations on process modeling and th enwe present several results obtainedby the authors in modeling, and environmental mapping of the pollution process in Zlatnaregion.

PROCESELE GEOMORFOLOGICE ACTUALE DIN CULOARUL MUREŞULUI DINTRE AIUD ŞI SEBEŞ (CULOARUL AIUD – SEBEŞ)

Author(s): Ioan Mărculeț,Cătălina Mărculeț / Language(s): Romanian Issue: 13/2013

The present-day modelling of relief in this passagewayis governed by several passive factors (largely sedimentary geological substrate, particularities of landform and of natural vegetation), active factors, climate features(precipitation, temperature, etc.) and land use (arable land, pasture land, hay-fields, etc.).The association of all these elements represents the morphogenetic potential of the area.Present-day modelling, which occurs on either slope of the Mure? Corridor, is shaped by ahuge variety of current geomorphological processes induced by precipitation (rain-relateddenudation and sheet erosion, gullying and torrent), gravitation (traction transport, downsagging, landsliding - deep-seated and superficial; rock falls), erosion and alluviation.

FORMAŢIUNILE SEDIMENTARE DIN BAZINUL AMPOIULUI

Author(s): Nicolae Luduşan / Language(s): Romanian Issue: 12/2012

In the Metaliferi andTrascău Mountains, geomorphological areas including Ampoi Valley, the accumulation ofsedimentary deposits began with Jurassic, since instead of basic magmatic rocks, asevidenced by the presence ofsporadic intercalations ofsandstones, limestone, shale andmarlincluded in magmatic rocks. From the Lower Cretaceous rocks (predominantly flysch), andthe UpperCretaceous( predominantly shelf), there are remarkable differences due to MiddleCretaceous Orogenesis, during which they were created the fundamental features ofstructural building in Metaliferi Mountains. Upper Cretaceous was more agitated than theLower Cretaceous, due to geological processes that took place during this period, andimportant changes in paleogeography and structure of a large part of southern of ApuseniMountains were produced. The geological structure of the area included five units (Bucium,Bedeleu, Trascău, Feneş and Căpâlnaş-Techereu), which are described in the paper.

IDENTIFICAREA HABITATELOR DE INTERES CONSERVATIV DIN ROSCI 0253 TRASCĂU

Author(s): Maria Roxana Muntean,Marian Muntean,OCTAVIAN MUNTEAN / Language(s): Romanian Issue: 12/2012

Theconservation of the natural habitats is a real challenge of the contemporary world, in thecontext of anthropogenic spatial expansion unprecedented in history. The preservation of thelast remains of wildlife in Europe was the reason which lay at the basis of a new concept, materialized through a network of protected natural areas, generically called Natura 2000.A first step in a sustainable management of the sometimes wide territories gathered underthe title of sites Natura 2000, is the finding of the species effectives or the identification ofthe distribution of habitats with a conservative value recorded in the standard printed forms. In the case of ROSCI0253 Trascău, the identification of habitats wasnt an easy task at all,due to the vast and varied ground. In this paper, we will carry out a survey of this step, which consisted in the acquisition of a multispectral band imaging WorldView2 to cover thewhole site, in its interpretation with the help of remote sensing software in refining theinterpretation result in the light of stational conditions specific to each of the analzsedhabitats. It resulted a succession of maps of the distributions of conservative value, mapswhich will underlie the sustainable management of habitats

THE NICHE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT OF ONE OF THE MOST MYSTERIOUS FORESTS IN ROMANIA: THE HOIA-BACIU FOREST

THE NICHE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT OF ONE OF THE MOST MYSTERIOUS FORESTS IN ROMANIA: THE HOIA-BACIU FOREST

Author(s): Marius-George Oprea,Marius-Cristin Lazin,Elena-Cristina MARTIUC / Language(s): English Issue: 1/2016

During the last few years, the Hoia-Baciu Forest, located near Cluj-Napoca, in Transylvania, Romania, has started to attract the attention of the local community after being included in diverse TOPs of the most haunted and creepiest places in the world, alongside other areas with similar phenomena. It became famous in 1968, when several people captured on a camera a flying object which was categorised by the professionals as UFO. Hoia-Baciu continues to fascinate and we want to emphasise its profile: is it a tourist destination yet or just a popular forest among locals, for picnics or other leisure activities? What should be done to transform it in a niche tourism destination? In order to find out, we analysed the data of the Hoia-Baciu Project, designed (by the local Romania –Your Lifetime Experience NGO) to include this mystical forest in the tourist circuit: tourist demands (06.2014-06.2016), activities for locals (2014-2016) and the results of a photo contest meant to answer to the question “what does the Hoia-Baciu Forest mean to me?” (2016). We also analysed the demands for the Hoia-Baciu Forest at Cluj-Napoca Tourist Information Center, in comparison to the total demands and the number of tourist arrivals in Cluj-Napoca. We answered why the Hoia-Baciu Forest is a niche destination for dark and paranormal tourism (among tourists) and just an ordinary attraction for locals.
