The creation and development of decentralized financial management of secondary education is one of the major changes concerning the Bulgarian education. The article analyzes the economic theories, on the basis of which the principles of financing the Bulgarian education are developed. With the introduction of the delegated budget system in 2008, the reform aims to transfer resources, decision-making rights and responsibilities to deliver services to lower levels of public governance. Decentralized financial management affirms and extends the financial and economic autonomy of the school as an important prerequisite for improving the quality of education in Bulgaria.

The text presents the experience of the school council in the “Pencho P. Slaveykov” Secondary School in organizing a campaign against tobacco smoke. The stages of the campaign, as well as its results, are shown: a 12.5% drop in the number of pupil smokers.The authors of the text share the stages of work, the results obtained, the way they are achieved. Several questionnaires are also available - for evaluating the situation before, during and after the initiative.

The theory and practice of implementation of the art and the education through art begins at the end of the 19-th and the first decades of the 20-th century. At the same time starts the scientific interest towards art as a tool for recreation in the schools and the system of social help and treatment. The second half of the century the art-pedagogical theory and practice turns into central part of the educational system and social pedagogy practice in free time. Today, most of the developed countries have own models for applying art methods and art-animation in work with different groups of clients in social and pedagogical sphere. It is similar in Bulgarian situation and this paper is a short critical survey of the actual point of views and tendencies in social pedagogy nowadays.

Възникване на модела за анатомично онагледяване „Екорше“ в обучението на медици и художници през епохата на Ренесанса

During the Renaissance in Italy, on the one hand, the physicians recognize the need for a practical study of human anatomy for the needs of medicine, and on the other hand, in the artists and sculptors arises the need to master the realistic portrayal of man. One of the means of achieving this objective is the knowledge of science anatomy, in particular – of the musculoskeletal system of man. The article deals with cooperation between artists and anatomists in this era, led to a number of discoveries in the anatomical illustration for scientific and didactic purposes of the muscular and skeletal systems and the emergence of a new model for anatomical illustration, called “Ecorche.” Outlined are the contributions of Leonardo da Vinci for anatomical visualization and prerequisites, which he created with his research in the field of anatomy, the emergence of a new model. It is noted that for centuries this model strongly influenced the teaching of anatomy, both painters and sculptors, as well as the medics, especially anatomists and surgeons. Presented are the most important authors, writings and illustrations (incl. statues) type “Ecorche” of those times that have affected anatomical editions over the next centuries. There is analyzed and commented upon the style of anatomical illustrations with figures “Ecorche” of the emblematic artists of the Renaissance and educational objectives that are placed through them.

It is the first book, written by a pedagogue about one of the most popular computer packages – “IBM SPSS Statistics”, which helps statistical processing of research data. The book, written as a handbook, helps in the understanding of research work’s essence, as well as the meaning of statistical information by its accessible language and style, sufficient explanations, useful information and “step by step” methodological approach.

К. Г. Юнг на български – другият поглед към съвременната хуманитаристика

The article reflects on the Swiss scientist translations’ influence on Bulgarian humanities. A short flashback revealing some Bulgarian writers’ Jungian appreciation of literature is constructed. Outlined is doctor Krustev – Karl Jung relation through Wundt and German philosophical, aesthetical and psychological school of the second half of the XIX th century. The text mentions the neglect of psychoanalytical methodology in Bulgarian literature and humanities, started by the “Misal” journal founder. Attention is payed to Yavorov’s poem “Nosht” (Night) as a productive object of psychoanalytical research. Mentioned are also some Bulgarian authors form different generations to whose works this methodology proves to be very productive.

The intrusion of Turkic words into different languages is long and complex process that requires serious and in-depth analysis of the extracted material. The analysis of common borrowings in two languages from different groups (Bulgarian and French) requires a complex approach based on the comparative empruntology between lexical elements of agglutinating language, passed into two Indo-European languages, representatives of the Slavic and Romance groups. The aim of the study is to track the phonetic and grammatical changes that occurred during the penetration of Turkic words in Bulgarian and French and outline the thematic fields and the changes in their semantics

This article attempts to present the forecasts for the development of education and its peculiarities in the 21st century. On the basis of the current state of education, some more important trends related to the peculiarities and characteristics of the education of the future are hypothetically presented. Possible solutions are presented in the context of the unpredictable future educational reality. Modern education does not need reform, it needs revolutionary change. The new architecture of education does not stem from the past, but requires unconventional solutions in the light of an uncertain and unpredictable future educational reality.

The issue presents the results of a investigation aimed at revealing the peculiarities of teacher perception of child faces. The face perceptions of two groups – teachers and students in Primary education – are studied. A conclusion is drawn that there are no specific differences in the results of the two groups although the professional experience of teachers. A proposal for special classes for students developing face perception skills is made.

Handling such topics allows the use of different methods in working outside the traditional lecture-type teaching. The report observes the most commonly used methods in teaching the above topics in classes in philosophical disciplines.

Тайнството на маските – урок върху комедията на Молиер „Тартюф“

The provocative title ”The Mystery of the masks” was liked by the students from 10th grade whose specialty is Interior design. The lesson consists of small parts of the contents of the comedy Tartuf. The image of the main character Tartuf complements the idea for his deceitful essence. The pictures drawn by the students emphasized on his unreal piety and mean glimpse. The main question in this lesson is: why do we need masks? The answer is: in order to recognize the faces of Truth and Lie, to approve sense! The exhibition of masks helped students to choose which one they like more or which picture characterizes them more.

On the Genetic Ties between European Nations

Who is Ivan Stranski, you ask? If you Google his name you will find thousands of sites that talk about him. In fact, the Kossel – Stranski model of crystal growth and the Stranski–Krastanov mode of growth of thin epitaxial films are named after him – just of two of the many scientific ideas and concepts Professor Stranski introduced in science (and through which a whole new field in science was born). Today thousands of physicists, chemists and material scientists all over the world are working in the field of crystal growth, particularly in epitaxial growth and nucleation which are necessary for the invention of new materials and high technologies. In this respect, the life, personality and way of thinking of this remarkable scientist should be of great interest in both beginners and professionals in science. The book describe the life and scientific achievements of Ivan Stranski, Bulgarian – German physical chemist and the father of crystal growth, against the historical backdrop of wars, massacres, and remarkable scientific discoveries in the 20th century. It covers his family roots, which are remarkable in their own right, the life and career both in Bulgaria and Germany (West Berlin), and his scientific achievements, including his most important contribution to the physics of crystal growth. The book captures Professor Stranski’s personality and way of thinking as much as possible from the recollections of his disciples and contemporaries.
