Author(s): Wahid Damilola Olanipekun,Emmanuel Oloke,Lateef Taiwo,Timothy Ayomitunde Aderemi / Language(s): English Issue: 3/2022

Financial development is one of the most important prerequisites for rapid and sustained industrial. Against this backdrop, this study utilized the techniques of Fully Modified Ordinary Least Squares and Granger causality to appraise the relationship between financial sector development and industrial performance in Nigeria between 1990 and 2019. The findings that came up in the study are presented as follow; out of the three principal variables used to proxy financial sector development in this study, two of them- M3 and interest rate have both direct and significant interlink with industrial performance in Nigeria. As such the study concludes that financial development contributes to a positive and significant industrial performance in Nigeria. The findings from direction of causality show that a unidirectional feedback relationship flows from industrial performance to interest rate in one hand and one way feedback relationship flows from total credit to private to broad money supply on the other hand. In view of these findings, this study recommends the following for the policymakers in Nigeria, and by extension policymakers in Africa that whenever these policymakers desire to achieve industrial development, policy that will drive the development of financial sector should be embarked upon. In addition, the Nigerian monetary authorities should ensure that adequate credit is disbursed to private sector in order to drive better industrial performance in the country.

Economic system has a lot of weaknesses: economic, legislative and social characters. In such conditions the financial system, as a subsystem of economic system, experiences all consequences of such a system. Such a model of entrepreneur bank, which is organized to give financial support for founding, increment and development of micro, small and medium enterprises, is essential and possible. It would have activities in order to found entrepreneur surroundings, as a subcondition for stable economic increment and development, which should lead the economy of Republic of Srpska to the level that would allow the country to integrate into european economy without any obstacles or into any other integrations. Under the conditions of imperfect market, the role of the state in economic development of a country is unavoidable. In this process, the state uses various instruments and applies various measures. Fiscal policy, i.e. public finance management, is one of the very important instruments. The manner of acquisition, allocation and spending of budget funds can impact to a great extent the entire economic development of a country. All countries are endeavoring to establish the models of optimum taxation on the one hand, and of efficient use of budget funds on the other. Due to the specificity of each national economy and different goals set, each country must develop its own models, but it must not neglect some basic principles whose application in practice of successful economies has had good results.

Marketing is interdisciplinary science which uses other science’s and discipline’s knowledge when solving a problem, where is a possibility for logical mistake in analogy. We question application of analogy conclusion, that is correction of analogy in marketing. An object of analogy are the theory „Stimulus – Response” and the model of the „Black Box”. In logical analyze of correction of the „Stimulus – Response” theory application, a customer is seen as a system with its three components: input, process and output. Marketing has transferred its focus from stimulants (input) to „process”, s its roll is now directed towards activating of this component of the system, which was neglected due to application of the „Black Box” model.

Contemporary processes of globalization and internationalization of national economies, as well as strengthening of trends of integrations on a regional scale mean that some huge infrastructural investments are necessary, especially those in the areas of transportation, energetics, telecommunications, water supply etc. Large-scale investments require enormous funds, which are not at disposal for many countries. In the first place, we are talking about underdeveloped countries, as well as those undergoing the process of transition. In order to provide investments in the aforementioned infrastructural areas, these countries are in demand of foreign capital, which gives way to making a concessionary arrangement as a very appropriate form of engaging private funds of foreign (and domestic) capital. The paper deals with some basic aspects of concessionary arrangements, which can be of significance for realization of basic objectives of the socio-economic development country contributing to its more successful fitting into contemporary integrative trends.
