Piaget tries to explain children’s cognitive development by stages in his studies. In these stages, preoperational stage which takes ages from two to seven, he claims that children cannot earn acquisitions in concrete and non-concrete operational stages. The aim of the research is to determine earning of Piaget’s relative concepts and to determine whether the results show similarities with the year Piaget first claimed his theory. The study is carried with 30 children in Ağrı province between 3 and 6 years old in pre-school education in 2014-2015 and 2015-2016. As the results of the study, it is seen that children in pre-operational stage can earn the acquisition in upperoperational stages which is different than Piaget’s theory.

The urban rehabilitation studies have been attracting the attention of a wide circle. Particularly the historical structures taking an important place in the identity of a city as well as the elements such as the residences reflecting the cultural identity of an area are being taken within the scope of urban rehabilitation studies. The deformations and gradual impairments being observed in such areas make the rehabilitation studies a necessity in the concerning areas. That is to say, clearing the unplanned urbanization surrounding the old urban areas as well as reinforcing the infrastructure and the superstructure in order to make them become reusable have importance in order to bring back the appearance of the old city as much as possible. Surely, some changes will be available functionally in this process. Such as a former madrasa becoming a museum following the rehabilitation studies.

Higher level studying education at university level students are growing up in the professional field that they have a say in the community, can take part as individuals hold knowledge and skills required by the professional, responsible, active in group activities and free thinking. It has an important place in both the academic life and personal life that students attending higher education using and managing the time well. This study aims to examine the effect of drama course taken by child development program continuing students on their good use of time skills. The study space constitutes 380 students continued to Iğdır University, Erzincan University and Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University Child Development Programmes. The number of child development students who wish to participate in the study was 273 in total. Research data was collected through "Time Management Inventory" which consisting of 27 items, developed by Britton and Tresser in 199 and adapted to Turkish by Alay and Koçak in 2002 and 'Personal Information Form' developed by the researchers. SPSS 17.0 software package, percentage measures, Cronbach's alpha, t-test and Kruskal-Wallis test was used in the analysis of the data.

This article examines tobacco and tobacco smoking in the Ottoman Time. There was a continuing debate about whether or not tobacco smoking was allowed in Islam. It is interesting to see that tobacco smoking increased. During that time another issue was that careless smoking caused fire and threatened public order in Istanbul. As a result of this, the State prohibited smoking tobacco by law. This restriction was implemented strictly and those who did not obey the law were punished severely, including the death penalty. In the Ottoman poem, tobacco smoking was worked out extensively. This article reviewed 250 Divan Poems on tobacco and tobacco consumption. These poems were categorised by two groups: The firs group reviews the comfort of tobacco smoking. The second group looks at the prohibition of tobacco smoking. In this study, special focus was paid attention on the life and poems of Şeyhülislam Ebulmeyâmin Mustafa Efendi, the Chief religious official in the Ottoman Empire, who was known as died of tobacco smoking. The debate about the effect of tobacco smoking on health and the view of Islam on tobacco smoking is seen widely in Ottoman Poem.

TÜRK-ARAP İLİŞKİLERİ SONUCU TÜRKÇE – ARAPÇA ETKİLEŞMESİNİN ARAPÇA ÖĞRENİM VE ÖĞRETİMİNE KATKISI

In the latest years, teaching Arabic has become a focus of interest as a communication language in Turkey as well as all around the world and more common with the developments that the language itself has gone through. There are modern scientific studies on how to teach Arabic more easily and in a shorter period of time. As a consequence of Turkish-Arab Islamic culture formed with Turk’s embracing a new religion, Islam, there have been a natural transition of words, terms and grammar rules between the two languages. Within the course of history, a vocabulary has been formed with this natural transition both in Arabic and in Turkish. The existence of such a treasure, and that of similar terms and grammar rules in Turkish are known to be an advantage for the Turkish wanting to learn Arabic. This paper argues that Arabic can be taught to Turkish people more easily and in a shorter period of time making use of the said advantages. This paper deals with Arabic vocabulary and grammar teaching methods and techniques in an easier way by taking advantage of mutual words and grammar rules used in Turkish phrases and idioms.

XV. YÜZYIL AZERBAYCAN-TÜRK YAZILI ANITLARINDA BUDUN BETİMSEL SÖZ VARLIĞININ EKSİ

In investigating the words used in Azerbaijani-turkish written monuments of XV century, the importance of the ethnographic vocabulary is special. The ethnographic vocabulary reflects the history, national-spiritual values, traditions, customs, various ceremonies, as well, ethnic opinions and the presence of the Turkish peoples. In this respect, the comparative investigation of the words used in this vocabulary related to the ceremonies, religious beliefs, about food, clothes, and etc. is important in finding out modern Turkish peoples’ similarities or different aspects in the material and spiritual cultures. To our mind, investigation of these words in the old Turkish language monuments, above all, can contribute even a little to solving some problems due to ethnic history of the Turkish people, formation in terms of resources, their relations with one another and their cultures. We must specially emphasize the importance of the descriptive words while investigating the words used in the monuments of XV century. The ethnographic vocabulary of the Turkish peoples reflects their history, national-spiritual values, traditions, customs and various ceremonies, as well, ethnic worldviews. The historical-descriptive information in The Middle Ages Turkish-language sources, especially in the vocabularies plays an important role for the present.
