Successful economic analyzes in the field of tourism business are related to the methods and indicators of their formation and development. One of the main methods of analysis used in tourism companies is comparative analysis, factual analysis (determination of the influence of individual factors on the change in indicators) and complex analysis. Successful use of the analysis sets out methods to increase the efficiency of the tourist product and the quality of customer service. The economic analysis of a tourist company provides information about its objective indicators that reflect its real financial, property and other condition. Extending Means-end Chain Theory by Integrating a Self-concept Approach and Behavioural Perspective Model

Extending Means-end Chain Theory by Integrating a Self-concept Approach and Behavioural Perspective Model

Author(s): Elena Borgardt / Language(s): English Issue: 1/2019

This methodological and concept paper attempts to combine the recently emerged, yet well-established, value-based cognitive model – Means-end Chain (MEC) – with the self-concept approach and the Behavioural Perspective Model (BPM). The paper has three aims: first, to elaborate the MEC theory, the post-modern approach of self-concept and the hermeneutical model based on radical behaviourism, BPM. Second, to discuss the similarities and differences with MEC and, third, to formulate a novel extended MEC metatheory. The theoretical framework is based on a critical overview of scientific books and articles. It includes an examination of the elements to enhance the MEC model with symbolism, dynamics and multi-dimensionality on the micro-level through integration of the self-concept approach. It also investigates the environmental, reinforcing / aversive and experiential aspects of the BPM on the macro level. The results of the exploration pave the way to the new research extended MEC – EMEC – which opens up new opportunities to redesign and re-systemise the interpretation and understanding of consumer behaviour.

SOCIJALNO PODUZETNIŠTVO KAO ČIMBENIK UTJECAJA NA (NE)JEDNAKOST ŽENA NA TRŽIŠTU RADA

Author(s): Gordan Radić,Ana Luburic / Language(s): Croatian Issue: 4/2019

The concept of social entrepreneurship is relatively young in economic theory, so it is still not sufficiently exploited in economic practice, especially on the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The terminology itself refers to a wide range of diverse manufacturing and service organizations whose existence is not based solely on the motives of gaining profits, but primarily on social motivation and influence on the welfare of society as a whole. In the past, a lot of attention has been paid to the position of women in employment and unemployment, both in our market and in the markets of the region. Although many positive changes in the position of women in the labor market have been achieved in the last decade, many indicators indicate that their position is still far worse than men's position: the rate of economic activity and employment of women is considerably lower, the unemployment rate is higher, women are waiting for the job longer, the concentration of female employees in typical women's activities is still very high, etc. That is why this paper deals with consideration of the possibility of applying the concept of social entrepreneurship to expanding the potential and opening up employment opportunities for women in business beyond the standard models. The advantage of non-standard employment offered by some forms of socially-owned enterprises makes it easier to reconcile work and family responsibilities, but on the other hand, they have significantly lower long-term job and income stability. It is important to find the right balance, which will in the long run lead to a better position of women in the labor market.

The present study examines the attitudes of biology students from the Bachelor's degree programme at the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" when using Moodle in their course in histology and embryology. Second year students majoring in Biology were studied by questionnaires and narrative interview divided into two types of teaching: the first group of students (with two sub-groups of full-time and part-time students), which in addition to the traditional training in histology also undergo an electronic course in the Moodle platform and the second group students (full-time and part-time students), which are trained in the traditional way. Students in both forms of learning find the Moodle educational environment suitable for histology training. Attitudes to using e-learning among extramural students are higher than those of regular students.

The aim is to study all BTC market assessments. These are related to the privatization and subsequent resale of BTC. An analytical approach was used to evaluate the Cost / EBITDA and Price / Income metrics. Проблеми на обществената телевизия в посткомунистическите държави

Author(s): Ivan Draganov / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 3/2016

Purpose: The development of public TV stations most clearly reveals that in Europe the state tends to withdraw from a lot of its duties and concede them to society. How does that actually happen in post communist countries? Results: The main problems are the lack of political culture, political will for liberalization of the electronic media and desire for honest public debate. Contributions: We can say that for the political fairness of public electronic media, we need honesty and responsibility from each and every journalist. The key problem is whether the political and social situation allows such discourse in electronic media, which is crucial for democracy itself.

A Nemzeti, valamint a Földigénylő Bizottságok szerepe a demokrácia álarcát öltő proletárdiktatúra kiépítésében Keszthelyen

Author(s): István Galambos / Language(s): Hungarian Issue: 2/2012

The Soviet occupation of Hungary was a critical period in her history. The Red Army conquered her territory. In December of 1944 the Provisory Government was formed and a Provisory Parliament was created. In Hungarian historiography the period between 1945-7 was considered as democratic one. But the real situation proved to be different. The communist party – supported by the Soviets – began to seize power by non-democratic means. In 1945 plenty of matters had been already decided by the Soviets and the two workers’ parties i.e. the Communists and the Social-democrats, when other parties were able to form. In Keszthely, the rearranging of land-possession had been already finished and the local authority i.e. the National Council made decisions in a lot of matters e.g. the election of mayor and vice-mayor, by the time the Party of the Small and Freeholders and the other parties were able to form and join in governing. The rearranging of land-possession, which had been desired for long by many, did not lack anomalies. The study discusses this part of the history of Keszthely.

Comparative International Entrepreneurship: Theoretical Framework and Research Development

Comparative International Entrepreneurship: Theoretical Framework and Research Development

Author(s): Agnieszka Głodowska / Language(s): English Issue: 2/2019

Objective: The aim of the article is to recognize the scientific identity of comparative international entrepreneurship (CIE) and to review the literature on this problem in the perspective of international entrepreneurship (IE). Research Design & Methods: The applied research method is the analysis of theoretical and empirical articles on comparative international entrepreneurship published in the years 1989-2018. On this basis, the Author formulates propositions of problems suitable for the scientific exploration in the future in the stream of comparative research. Findings: Comparative international entrepreneurship is one of three research domains of international entrepreneurship. We can identify here a few important problems for future research, which concern institutional and cultural conditionings of entrepreneurship, the operationalisation of entrepreneurship and the assessment of the effects of entrepreneurship for the economic growth and development. Implications & Recommendations: It is recommended to conduct theoretical and empirical in-depth research into international entrepreneurship in the comparative approach. It is of great cognitive importance for the development of the discipline and of utilitarian importance both for entrepreneurs – the micro level and economic decision-makers – the macro level. Contribution & Value Added: The article fills a research gap related to the conceptual embedment of comparative international entrepreneurship and is one of the first articles to review the literature concerning this problem.

The competition between higher education institutions in Bulgaria is growing and the practical realization of the marketing concept in the higher education system is becoming more and more urgent. Marketing is the key to creating and implementing a quality educational product. But there are different points of view in the interpretation of what the quality of higher education is, what the educational product is and how it differs from the educational service. The purpose of the article is to clarify the essence of these concepts. But the main focus is the argumentation of the need to adopt the marketing concept as a principle of management of higher education institutions. Specific actions are also indicated in this direction.
