The article of famous pedagogue Mrs. Sylvia Rotter, the founder of The Viennese Children Theatre that started her specific theatre training in Romania from 2008, is approaching the main themes of the National Conference of Theatre Techniques: the importance of theatre training, the specifics of theatrical pedagogy as education for life, as the way to improve theoretical thinking, logical thinking, through rhythm games, balance games, songs, counting games and so on. Her support in introducing drama classes in Romanian schools is essential and UNATC is striving for the same objectives.

Starting with Erich Fromm’s thesis on love from his seminal work The Art of Loving (1956), the paper tries to show the way in which Fromm’s psycho-biological concept of love is represented differently in different historical formations in Andrić’s historical novel The Bridge on the Drina (1945). A brief analysis of the three love relations from Andrić’s novel reveals the process of the appearance of the concept of modern love, the moment in which love ceases to be a social instance and becomes an individual act.

The Nature of Language: Three Muslim Thinkersʼ Perspectives

One of the key issues attracting thinkers throughout the history of science was to set and define criteria for studying language – whether that of man or God – and to study its relation to the mind on the one hand and to the external world on the other. The purpose of this paper is to investigate three Muslim thinkers’ views about the nature and ‘whatness’ of language by focusing on their works. The rationale to choose these three thinkers is the fact that their views and ideas cover the issues inherent in the purpose of this study extensively. The issues addressed in paper include:1. What are the constituent elements of language?2. How does it affect mind and thought?3. What is its semantic function?Our findings indicate that the ‘whatness’ and nature of language of both God and men are the same. The elements are written and spoken, gestures and entity that serve to communicate meaning. As for the second question, language elements act like signs which evoke meaning and assist communication. As far as the semantic functions of language elements are concerned, when the communication of meaning is undertaken, the truth of kalam (speech, word) is different from the ‘whatness’ of meaning and the mutakallim (the one who makes wordsn and speech). As a result of this discrepancy, language communicates something (i.e. meaning) different from the mutakallimʼs inner world. Although the constituent elements of language and how they affect mind and thought have been thoroughly investigated in Western philosophy (e.g. Wittgenstein), there has been little attention to such issues in Eastern philosophy. This paper is believed to be one of the few investigations that adopt a new perspective in attempting to provide a definition for language based on three Muslim thinkersʼ dialectics and logics. The paper contributes to the field by defining language in a way that all its functions, particularly the religious function – that explains the relation between man and God – are taken into account.

Pripreme se održavaju prije samog zavjetovanja, a traju skoro mjesec dana, obično u vrućim danima osmog mjeseca. Naše pripreme za svečane zavjete nisu poput sportskih priprema, naporne i teške i usmjerene samo na pobjedu jedne momčadi, iako tih dana nismo bez sporta, osobito nogometa, te najbitnije sporedne stvari u životu.

Naselje Prud u Bosanskoj Posavini nalazi se na lijevoj obali rijeke Bosne na njezinu utoku u Savu, na samoj granici s Republikom Hrvatskom. Pretpostavlja se da je Prud nekad bio na desnoj obali rijeke Bosne. Današnji kanal Bosnica vjerojatno je staro korito Bosne. Ušće Bosne u Savu bilo je široko 150 koraka. Da je tomu tako, govori nam i karta s početka 19. stoljeća koja se danas čuva u Ratnom arhivu u Beču (Kriegs-Archiv, Wien). U pisanim dokumentima Prud se prvi put spominje 1761. godine. U Maticama krštenih i vjenčanih župe Bijela 1761. godine u Prudu se spominju prezimena: Šunjić, Sarić i Vukosavljević. Do 1990. godine Prud je sa Zasavicom i Bosanskim Šamcem činio jednu župu, a od 1990. je samostalna župa, koju danas vodi župnik Pavo Kopić.
