Bioenergetika – analýza bioenergetických zdrojov v Slovenskej republike, Európskej únii a vo svete

Bioenergetika – analýza bioenergetických zdrojov v Slovenskej republike, Európskej únii a vo svete

Author(s): Jaroslav Demko / Language(s): Slovak / Issue: 2/2018

Use of fossil fuels produces emissions of polluting materials in the air that besides health problems make unwanted changes in global ecosystems and contribute to global climate change on Earth. Developed countries with high environmental awareness cannot imagine their future without renewables with high share of bioenergy sources – not only for exhausting of fossil fuels but also for their energy safety or climate change. Based on these development trends and political stances it is possible to predict that the share of renewable sources on total gross energy consumption will successively grow as same as both scientific and technology progress and pricing accessibility of devices using renewables including bioenergy sources potential will grow as well.

Chrobáky (Coleoptera) a ich viazanosť (fidelita) na choriotop kvitnúcich rastlín v oblasti Oravskej Magury (CHKO Horná Orava, Severné Slovensko)

Author(s): Radoslav Kvasničák,Patrícia Dzureková / Language(s): Slovak / Issue: 3/2018

The aim of this paper is to determine the fidelity of beetles on the choriotop of the flowering plants in selected mountain meadows at Oravska Magura (Magurka, 1 107 Meter, in: CHKO Horna Orava, North Slovakia). In the study area were chosen two habitats (A – 620 Meter, B – 655 Meter) which represented the flowering herbs of the families: Asteraceae, Ranunculaceae, Fabaceae, Apiaceae and Lamiaceae. The entomological material we acquire method with use the exhaustor and slipping grasslands during the vegetation period (May – October) in the year 2014. We counted approximately 373 ex. of beetles. They belong to 11 different species originating from 6 different families. The dominant praticol families were: Curculionidae 169 ex. (45,3 %), Buprestidae 79 ex. (21,2 %) and Chrysomelidae 69 ex. (18,5 %). The eudominate species of beetles bound to the flowering plants belong to the number with 58 ex. (15,5 %) of Liparus glabrirastris (in Petasites hybridus), 52 ex. (13,9 %) Apion apricans (in Trifolium pratense), 51 ex. (13,7 %) Anthaxia nitidula (in Hieracium umbellatum) and 44 ex. (11,8 %) of Cassida viridis (in Lamium purpureum), which are a occurrence on two mountain grasslands. The question remains at selected sites to evaluate the quantitative and qualitative representation of beetles, their dominance, seasonal dynamics, and cenothetic features of the study area. The tables no. 2 and 3 shows the species representation of beetles, their abundance (dominance), cenotic charakteristic and their developmental and trophic binding to the flowering plant species.

Author(s): Štefan Šrobár / Language(s): Slovak / Issue: 2/2020

Ecology studies the relations of organisms and their environment. Ecosystem is established by mutual concurrence of organisms and environment. Global environmental problems point to our persisting unwillingness or inability to use ecosystems rationally with regard to their long-term functioning. Ecosystems have ability to soften negative effect of anthropogenous factors. Therefore, we can disturb and damage the ecosystems for certain time and cumulate alien substances in them. However, when the threshold value of ecological stability is crossed, degeneration or even devastation occurs. Deep ecology is the way of achieving accord and balance among individuals, communities and the whole nature.

Author(s): Mária Kozová / Language(s): Slovak / Issue: 1/2021

The paper presents the basic objectives, principles and concepts of the UNESCO Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage, which was adopted in 1972. Each State Party of the Convention may propose to the World Heritage List its cultural monuments and natural sites which are meeting criteria of outstanding universal value, authenticity and integrity, which have adequate legal protection and mechanisms in place to ensure their preservation. The Slovak Republic has been a party to the Convention only since 1991. It currently has 7 World Heritage Sites (5 cultural and 2 natural) on the World Heritage List and proposals for other sites are being prepared. The main part of the paper is devoted to evaluating the application of the Convention during forty-five years after its entry into force, amendments in the Operational Guidelines for the implementation of the Convention, institutional provision of the protection of World Cultural and Natural Heritage sites and procedures of monitoring of their state. The discussion and conclusion highlight the positive reflection of the Convention to the current global challenges of shared responsibility to address global change and strengthen all three dimensions of sustainable development. Measures to effectively preserve the common world cultural and natural heritage, develop respect, understanding between the world's communities and cultures and strengthen their sustainable development are an important challenge also for Slovakia.

Existuje spojenie medzi zlatým rezom a Mozartovými klavírnymi sonátami?

Author(s): Vladimir Georgiev,Maria Laura Manca / Language(s): English / Issue: 3/2019

The aim of this work was to search for the presence of the golden number Φ in selected Mozarťs piano sonatas. For this purpose, we have examined the thematic structure of the first movement of such sonatas. Furthermore, taking the relationship between the golden ratio and the Fibonacci Series into account, we have performed a spectral analysis of musical signals obtained by sonatas, in order to find a possible link between the main spectral peaks of frequency and consecutive Fibonacci numbers. Our results "mathematically" confirm the high sense of proportions in Mozart, and that the most pleasing proportion Φ is reached in some particular works (K 333, K 448 and K 457), but not in other pieces, like K 310.

The precondition for establishing a relationship with a second person is on the ontological level a substantial-relational understanding of the person. Dialogic authenticity, existential communication and dialogue are possible on the basis of love. We distinguish an authentic love which is understood as agape from non-authentic love. The highest form of love has manifested itself in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Love is the highest form of meaning in the life of man.
