This article is focus on NLP as a tool helping to improve personal excellence in teaching languages. NLP states that learning begins in the students’ frame of reference and thus, it is important for teachers to increase their interpersonal skills and ability to recognize it. A map of how language operates is drawn by the Meta Model - a tool for a fuller understanding of what people say -, which deals with the concepts of surface structure and deep structure. The meta programs deal with deletions, distortions and generalisations which appear in language during communication. Establish rapport is a helpful method to create favourable teaching atmosphere and humanising teaching is a way to improve students’ performance.

Stefano Benni would probably not like the definition “cult” for his novel “La Compagnia dei Celestini” (1992). Nevertheless, a number of his statements can be found quoted all over the internet, and even some of his neologisms have entered the Italian common dictionary. One such example is pallastrada, "Street Football", the name he created in this book to define a popular game played all over the world. All that is needed to play Benni's pallastrada is some friends, an open space, and a ball. In fact, even the ball is not a requisite. The "Street Football" has become a better alternative to its official counterpart: away from stadiums; bearing no uniform strips; and, above all, having no sponsors or logos. The author adds to the game some mythical origins and a supernatural protector. The game - a metaphor of freedom and solidarity - has spread all over Europe, thanks in large part to a French cartoon inspired by the novel.

More...“Motion/emotion” is a theory trying to explain the way secondary meaning (connotation) developed, the last hundred of years, alongside primary meaning (denotation), in cinematography, in order to convey meaning/messages/stories. Film – motion picture – movie: a triad we set off to explore, within the perspective opened by the cultural studies and media studies, to advance the “motion/emotion” theory.
More...The history of film reveals an evolution, almost normatively, of actors' gestures, from exaggeration to absence. The exaggeration is associated with the dawns of the cinema, when the actors should add, with the help of the gestures, the rudimentary technology - but also to the production series B, the porn film or the television for the masses. As technology has advanced, gestures in the cinema have lost their denotative function and have become closer to the usual gestures, therefore, closer to human nature. Because of the technological progress, the gestures have arrived at the point where their presence, diminished to the minimum, makes it possible to form a compound mixture in the color, the granulation, the focal length of the lenses, the movement of the camera, the light, the sound, mounting etc.). The mixing of these elements has thus returned the syncretic role of the film.
